The FC Barcelona away kit for the 2013-2014 season featured a bold and unique design inspired by the colors of the Catalan flag (the Senyera).

The 2013-2014 season was a transitional year for FC Barcelona. Managed by Gerardo “Tata” Martino, the team competed in La Liga, Copa del Rey, and UEFA Champions League but did not win any major trophies. They finished 2nd in La Liga, runners-up in the Copa del Rey, and were eliminated in the Champions League quarterfinals by Atlético Madrid. Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Alexis Sánchez led the attack, while the defense was anchored by Piqué and Dani Alves. This was the final season for club legend Carles Puyol.
